Social media content creators don’t not have best interest at their hearts for you. Your weakness and approval seeking behaviour was their door for making profit off you. Just like a bad friend, they just told you what you want to hear and earned money out of your attention.
The reason these things are hard because once you accept and admit those things, then it is up to you to fix them and it will take a lot of work. It is just easier to blame outer circumstances and make an excuse for the brain.
